Amboseli is Located about a four-hour drive (240 km or 150 miles) southeast of Nairobi, it is well known for its herds of big tusked elephants and overlooking mt Kilimanjaro. Amboseli can be visited throughout the year, but the best wildlife watching is in the Dry season (June to October) when animals gather around marshes and other predictable water sources.
When it\u2019s dry, animals crossing the sandy plains kick up a lot of dust, offering great photo opportunities in the late afternoon. The dry spell between the rains, from January to February, can also be a great time for wildlife viewing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Samburu is among Kenya\u2019s most scenic reserves, with riverine forest along the lovely Ewaso Nyiro River. Close to the river is also where you\u2019re most likely to see leopards. Near the river, dry acacia scrub and semi-arid savannah, peppered with termite mounds, takes over and extends all the way to the mountains that define the park\u2019s northern boundary.       The park is located in the southern part of Kenya and its part of the extensive Tsavo conservancy. It lies to the west of the Nairobi-Mombasa highway hence the name Tsavo west. It\u2019s one of the largest parks in Kenya covering an expansive area of about 9,065 square kilometers. The park features diverse landscape including open grasslands, acacia, woodlands, volcanic hills, the iconic Chyulu hills, the shetani lava flow. The park is home to a rich variety wildlife including the big five (Lion, Elephant, buffalo, Leopard & rhinoceros) other animals found in the park include giraffes, zebras, Hippos, cheetahs, wild dogs and numerous bird species.<\/p>

      Tsavo west national park stands out to be the 2nd largest national park in Kenya and also one of the oldest national parks which was established in 1948. The park has a topography of riverine vegetation, vast grasslands, dense acacia woodlands, rocky outcrops and semi-arid desert shrubbery are the perfect habitats for Kenya\u2019s northern and southern species.<\/span><\/p>

      The park hosts the famous shetani lava flow, Mzima Springs for a glimpse of crocodiles and hippos in an underground lookout and the Ngulia Rhinoceros Sanctuary, one of the few places in the country where it is possible to view the majestic black rhino.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
